there is a lot of material on this - it would be good to be as specific as possible regarding this topic (which is generally covered from the viewpoint of how journalists are portrayed in a negative context).

if you're looking for how people think about journalists, look for surveys on the status of professions over time. but how to relate those results to popular culture?

Hi Mark, I wonder if you will be able to help me with my dissertation. I'm looking at how films and tv have shaped the image of an American journalist but am struggling to find existing poll and survey data. Any ideas for sources? Your help would be much appreciated.
